Club 40 Race Results

Seven pilots raced each other in brisk winds for bragging rights in the Club 40 Race. Joe Aguilera led the early standings but cut a pylon during round 5 that let Terry Yates sneak into first place. The first place finisher was Terry Yates followed by Joe Aguilera in second place, and Chris Wautlet taking third.

We had several close races and the winds made conditions difficult. Darren Downhour lost his racer during a race and several other close calls were watched as the pilots fought to control their aircraft.

The contest was directed by Contest Director Terry Yates. Thanks to course workers Steve Bibler, Dick Chrystie, Ron Espolt, Gary Hobbs, Clint Perkins, and others not named. Tina Yates and Charlie Riether put on a delicious lunch with help from other members.
