About the Club

The Victor Valley RC Flyers, Inc. (VVRCF) is a non-profit organization dedicated to the enjoyment, promotion and education of radio controlled models of all kinds and especially model aviation. We are located in the Victor Valley area of the High Desert of Southern California.

VVRCF was chartered by the Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA) in November of 2002, Charter #4439. VVRCF has grown from a small informal group of 12 to an organization of over 90 members, making it the largest model club in the High Desert. Many of our members, both past and present, are renowned for their building and flying skills.

Currently the VVRCF flying field consists of a 550 by 50 foot asphalt runway. There is a helicopter pad and flying area and an area for our glider enthusiasts. We are planning to add a car and truck race track and an area for the ever increasing popularity of what are commonly called Park Flyers or the smaller electric powered radio controlled aircraft. No rockets or gas-turbines are allowed at this field because of our use permit with the City of Hesperia.

Our goal is to provide, to the community, a safe and controlled area for anyone that wishes to participate in the activities available at our field. There are experienced hobbyists that are available to help the newest and the youngest members of the community to learn the safe and proper way to operate radio controlled equipment.
