The Victor Valley RC Flyers are a newly established model aircraft club in the Mojave Desert of Southern California, sanctioned by the Academy of Model Aeronautics, Chapter # 4439.

I have been selected as the club member responsible for contacting companies and individuals as potential sponsors for this exciting event, The Victor Valley RC Flyers first official event. The event dates under consideration are the first or second weekend in June, pending finalization of event planning. We are seeking donations of radios, servos, motors, kits or arf's, as well as support equipment, such as fuel, batteries, etc., as awards for planned events. We would also welcome donations to be given for door prizes, raffles and good will tokens, such as pens, buttons, hats, mugs, stickers, tee shirts, etc.

Any assistance will be greatly appreciated by everyone involved. Donations will be documented in our club newsletter, and we will forward pictures and written documentary to the AMA in hopes it will be published in AMA's magazine. Copies will be sent to MAN and RCM.

We have a 80' x 500' runway with protected pilot stations and a separate glider runway, as well as a helipad. As a club, we are associated with several clubs in the Southern California area; the Mojave Desert has a very large modeling community.

Our more spiritual members have prayed about this event and for fun and safety for all, and we believe, with your help, we can all benefit and have fun at the same time.
