Club Christmas Party

 

Following a delicious meal from the Mile High Restaurant, members of the Victor Valley RC Flyers were honored with these awards:

Most Improved Junior: Michael Stroup Jr.

Most Improved Senior: Ivan (Ike) Vander-Weide

Most Club Spirit: Terry Yates

Best Mentor: Bruce Hamilton

Mr. Congeniality: John Austin

Most Valuable Member: Steve Bibler

 

Outgoing President Barry Young thanked the Club and the Club Officers for helping him over the past two years. Then he asked John Austin to come forward to be presented with a gift. The gift fought back from being unwrapped but finally John got the upper hand. The gift was a golf club driver.

 

Incoming President Rick Pearson spoke of the progress the Club has made during Barry’s tenure. Rick is excited to be elected (sentenced) to be the President for 2012. Rick then presented Barry with a gavel as a token of his service to the Club.
